Food and Medical Program Providing Relief To Those Suffering The people of the Omo Valley practice flood-recession agriculture. This leaves them vulnerable to food insecurity because an entire crop can fail if rain is inadequate or crops flood and die. Cholera and other water born diseases can break out during flooding leading to wide-spread suffering. Food insecurity leads to conflict. Our mission is to promote peace, and one way we can do that is to bring food to suffering tribes. In addition, specialized medical care is not accessible to most Omo Valley residents. We organize clinics for specialized care, for example, eye care. Through this ministry, we are able to show Jesus love and care to the people of the Omo Valley. Support This Work |
